7. Additional Data

Once your user completes your web form, the following details are automatically captured or generated:
  • IP Address - captured from the user

  • Logged-in User - captured if the current user is logged-in

  • Incremental Request Numbering - every request is automatically numbered (starting from 1 for each Data Capture Form) - you can specify a prefix for this number

  • Unique ID - every request is assigned a Unique Identifier or Reference

Two basic types of reports are available:
  • Data Detail Reports
    You decide which questions to include in these reports which can then be filtered, sorted and exported in various formats (Web Page, MS Word, MS Excel, CSV, RSS or XML)

  • Graph Reports
    Three graph types are available:

    2. Bar Graph
    3. Pie Charts
    Each of these graphs can be saved locally as images.

Export the data captured via your Web Forms via your Data Detail Reports in various formats including:

Report Graphs can also be exported as Images.


13. Data Import

If you already have a MS Excel spreadsheet containing the data you want to manage in a web form, you can use this spreadsheet to automatically generate your web form and save all the data contained in it.

If this is a concern, SSL is available on most of our packages. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a cryptographic protocol that provides secure communication on the Internet for web browsing.
